AT A GLANCE
The Personality number uses a name’s consonants and is interpreted through outward style or first impressions. It is not a psychological personality test. The result depends on the chosen name, alphabet mapping and vowel convention, all of which should be visible.

Calculate the consonants #
Use the same full name and repeating A–Z values as Expression. In this library, A/E/I/O/U are vowels and all other A–Z letters, including Y, are consonants. Add the consonant values across the whole name before reducing, retaining 11, 22 and 33.
Spaces, hyphens and apostrophes do not score. Letters outside A–Z require a documented transliteration choice in a manual calculation. The existing profile instead ignores them, so a manual transliteration may produce a different result.
Worked example #
For Maya Reed, the consonants are M4 + Y7 + R9 + D4 = 24. Reduce 2 + 4 = 6. The Personality number is 6 under the fixed-vowel rule.
The vowel total is 12 and the consonant total 24, together equaling the unreduced Expression total 36. This is a useful arithmetic cross-check. Add the unreduced totals; adding final labels can obscure intermediate master-number handling.
What the outward-style idea can offer #
A Personality 6 interpretation might ask whether others experience your approach as responsible or helpful. A useful way to explore that is to ask for actual feedback rather than assuming the number describes every first impression.
The position differs from Soul Urge, which concerns an inward-motivation interpretation. Outward and inward labels should not be used to invent a conflict if the person does not recognize one.
The name is an input, not a diagnosis #
Changing a spelling changes the sum; it does not prove that a personality has changed. The profile preserves only 11 and 22, not 33. This calculation should not be used to judge trustworthiness, hire someone or assign a fixed social role.

Put it into practice
The profile preserves 11 and 22, but not 33, and uses different date and Daily Number formulas. Compare the calculations.
