AT A GLANCE
A Personal Month number adds the target calendar month to the Personal Year number and reduces the result to 1–9. It is a temporary interpretive layer within a year. The calculation uses the month being studied, not the birth month a second time.

Calculate the year first #
First calculate Personal Year from birth month, birth day and target year. Then add 1 for January through 12 for December. Reduce fully, including 11 → 2, 22 → 4 and 33 → 6 if reached.
This library uses calendar months. A different practitioner may describe transitions more gradually or use another timing convention; that interpretation should not silently change the arithmetic shown here.
Worked example #
For the 16 July birthday, Personal Year 2026 is 6. September is month 9, so September’s Personal Month is 6 + 9 = 15, then 1 + 5 = 6. October gives 6 + 10 = 16, then 1 + 6 = 7.
The repeated 6 in September is simply the result of the formula. It does not double a measurable force or prove that the month will contain more family events. Use the theme to choose a reasonable review question.
Read month and year as different scales #
A 6 month within a 6 year might prompt a focused review of a recurring care commitment. A 7 month in that same year could prompt taking time to understand the arrangement before changing it. These are original examples of applying the vocabulary, not forecasts.
Do not read every monthly number as a new Life Path. The birth-date interpretation stays the same while the cycle value changes with the calendar.
Boundaries and rollover #
At January, calculate the new Personal Year before adding the new month. The sequence across December and January therefore does not simply continue by one. For the example, December 2026 is 6 + 12 = 18 → 9; January 2027 uses Personal Year 7, so 7 + 1 = 8.
Synergy’s current profile Daily Number is not this monthly-cycle method. No new calculator is implied, and the number should not decide the timing of a consequential action.

Put it into practice
The profile preserves 11 and 22, but not 33, and uses different date and Daily Number formulas. Compare the calculations.
