AT A GLANCE
The Birthday number uses only the day of the month on which someone was born. It is a smaller interpretive layer than Life Path, which uses the full date. This library records the original day and its reduced result so the calculation remains transparent.

The day alone #
For a birth on the 16th, calculate 1 + 6 = 7 and record 16/7. For the 29th, 2 + 9 = 11, which is retained under our core-number convention, so record 29/11. The slash records a compound and result; it is not division.
The possible calendar days are 1–31. A Birthday number cannot have an original day of 33. Some practitioners keep compound-day interpretations rather than focusing on the root; this library supplies the general root vocabulary and states that distinction.
What this layer is used for #
Practitioners often read the Birthday number as a particular style or available aptitude. For 16/7, a reflective question could concern careful inquiry or learning through examination. This does not prove that someone has a special ability or a predetermined challenge.
Life Path may produce a different number from the same date. For 16 July 1987, the Birthday result is 7, while the library’s component Life Path calculation is 3. Those are separate positions and should not be forced into one label.
A practical comparison #
A reader studying that illustrative date might use Birthday 7 to ask how they investigate a subject and Life Path 3 to ask how they share what they learn. The connection is an editorial reflection between two explicitly calculated positions, not a claim that the numbers cause those behaviors.
If the description does not fit, leave it open. A useful practice does not need a number to authorize it.
Convention and profile limits #
Synergy’s profile reduces the numeric birth day while preserving 11 and 22. This matches many Birthday roots here, including 29 → 11. The original day can still be useful to record because a reduced 7 could come from 7, 16 or 25.
The number cannot predict talent, health or compatibility. It is also distinct from a Personal Day, which is a changing calendar-cycle value.

Put it into practice
The profile preserves 11 and 22, but not 33, and uses different date and Daily Number formulas. Compare the calculations.
